Bernese Mountain Dogs are amazing! This dog breed was developed to work hard and help people; they thrive in the cold weather and remarkably can adjust to warmer climates as well! They are very good at pulling carts, herd cattle, and excellent watchdogs. They come from Switzerland, they are one of four Sennenhund type dogs, and they are the only Swiss mountain dogs that come as long-haired dogs.

Big, powerful, and built for hard work, the Bernese Mountain Dog is also strikingly beautiful and blessed with a sweet, affectionate nature. Berners are generally placid but are always up for a romp with the owner, whom they live to please. The Bernese Mountain Dog is a large, sturdy worker who can stand over 27 inches at the shoulder. The thick, silky, and moderately long coat is tricolored: jet black, clear white, and rust. The distinctive markings on the coat and face are breed hallmarks and, combined with the intelligent gleam in the dark eyes, add to the Berner’s aura of majestic nobility. A hardy dog who thrives in cold weather, the Berner’s brain and brawn helped him multitask on the farms and pastures of Switzerland. Berners get along with the entire family and are particularly gentle with children, but they will often become more attached to one lucky human. Berners are imposing but not threatening, and they maintain an aloof dignity with strangers.

We seek to find good homes for our pups with families that like happy dogs and want to include them in their daily life. They love children, big and small. I also breed horses and have a busy equestrian center. These dogs seem to know how to be good farm dogs without any specific training but are fast learners too. They seem to like all other animals and are respectful in all ways. They are people-pleasers! Once you go BMD you will never go back!
We currently have one litter with 5 available females left, we had nine pups with 6 girls and 3 boys. They were born on October 3rd, 2023 and are ready for homes just in time for the holidays!
Our puppies come with a health guarantee, they are fully vetted to age recommendations, we can provide health certificates from our vet for travel and we can help with travel accommodations. Many of our pups have gone across the country and it is easily arranged.
The pricing for pups is $2500 for limited AKC papers or potentially may be sold with full papers with breeding rights for an additional fee and application process.
